The Darwin Project, a northeast Michigan band with a national reputation, will headline Saturday night, August 30, on the Rogers City Stage on the fairgrounds at the Presque Isle County Fair. The band’s appearance was arranged through Dean Adams and the 3 Cedars Restaurant in Millersburg.
The Darwin Project is an alternative rock band from northeastern Michigan, comprised of four passionate musicians: Brett Harfert, Ben Dratmol, Dave Covell and Tommy Marsh. The Darwin Project is frequently an opening act for prime-time performers in medium- to large-scale venues. In 2012, the band toured 28 states in 30 days. Country and bluegrass music will also be part of the weekend. Jim Bancroft and Gang will perform on Friday evening and Pickin for People will perform on Saturday. Performance times and venues are still to be determined.
The 113th Presque Isle County Fair will be held during the Labor Day weekend, from August 28 to August 31, 2014 along with the Millersburg Homecoming.
