County Fair is Cancelled for this year!

We have canceled the County Fair due to the Corona Virus, and to keep everyone safe!

We are sorry to regret that the Presque Isle County Fair will be cancelled for the current year.

Please watch the web site for next years events, and updates.
The Flea Market was a huge attraction, and we plan on bringing that back in 2021.

If you would like to help and or be a sponsor for the fair in 2021, there is plenty of time to plan events and get your helpers organized.

We will be looking for educational activities for kids and adults. Hands on projects, with fun and games for all.

Also anyone involved in music, or likes to sing, or read a book to the kids, or just show off your personal talent is encouraged to take the stage, and show us what you can do.

Dates for 2017 are July 21, 22, and 23!
We are looking for helpers, young or old.
The Board has been meeting every month, and brainstorming ideas and fundraising ideas!
Currently they are selling Delicious Popcorn with over 12 different flavors, and assorted sizes, so you can mix and match and try them all.
Prices vary from 8.00 to 59.00 , so there is a size for everyone.
Contact a fair board member to help support the fair, and enjoy yummy popcorn!

New Happenings at the County Fair!

New this year are tons of counties entities and groups bringing in their information, flyers, with some doing demonstrations? Check out the schedule of events for a complete listing, which is being update daily!
There is an open fun horse show. Anyone with a horse can come and join the fun. This event will take place Saturday at 4 pm.
We are having 2 cake walks, one for kids and one for adults, with different prices and items for each.
Try your speed, and skill at our Agra-Fit race. Do you have a little farmer in you?
Do you want to find out who is the best, or the fastest. Come out a take your turn!
Piñata for the kids to take a whack and make a crack, to expose the goodies.

Only $5.00 per car for parking per day.

WOW !!! Look what is new in 2016?!!

There are changes being made! First off the entries are changing to a volunteer show and tell items!
There will be no entry fee, and no premiums paid out!
Anybody child or adult , big or small, young or old, can bring in whatever they made, in the past year! There will be no classes, or age groups to worry about.
The only paper work will be your name and address so we can keep tabs on your item and be sure it is returned to the correct owner.
WOW That is it, can't get any easier than that!

October 27th, 2015 will be our annual meeting!
Where: North Trail Diner in Millerbsurg
When: 6 pm for dinner (dutch treat)
Meeting starts: 6:30 pm

Election of officers will take place at this meeting.
Plan to attend and be part of a great organization, that benefits the local community!

This is it Fair Week, and the entries will soon be coming in!

Looks like we are going to have great weather too! Just a reminder that all events will still be a go rain or shine!

We have added kids movies that will be playing all day in the grey barn, along with the challenge game for kids and adults.

The Schmidt amusement rides are getting set up, we'll have the scrambler, big slide, strawberry, canoe ride, small coaster ride, and bounce house.

If you come for the food your in for a treat, beer ,burgers and hot dogs, white fish and fries, popcorn, elephant ears, assorted ice cream treats, and on Saturday doughnuts, and kettle corn.

So come out and support your county fair, and bring a friend!

THAT’S RIGHT!!!
The fair it coming to Presque Isle County! Wednesday July 22nd from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, bring in your item that you want to have judged.
The Fair is open from noon to dusk Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Pay $6.00 at the gate and ride the rides as often as you like. (2 years and under are free) Please only guide dogs with harnesses on the fair premises.
If you are a collector, or have a special item you want to show off, bring it in. That’s right you don’t have to enter it in the fair, and have it be judged. Just bring it in to show it off, let the community enjoy your work, or what you have collected over the years.
Schmidt Amusements will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, along with all the food venders, and other venders, to sell their wares. Beer and burger tent everyday by the Millersburg Eagles #4482, and Kiwanis white fish sandwiches and fries. There will be kids and adult games too! Yes parents and grandparents, test your skill at the tabletop games, some you need a steady hand. J
Friday night at 7 pm we have the mud run, with the fastest and the loudest trucks around. Gate fee is $6.00 to watch 10 and under are free. Grand stand with lawn seating, bring your blankets, chairs, and coolers for a good time, to see who beats the clock!
We will have music on the new stage in the pavilion, with the Battle of the bands ending the show on Saturday. (You must pre-register) Also new this year is a whole pie eating contest, yes if you like apple pie this is the challenge for you. (You must pre-register) You may even win a little cash!
There is sure to be something at the fair for your enjoyment, your pleasure, or just to make you laugh!
